The boundaries of the mission field lie at the threshold of our church doors. As ambassadors of Christ, we must use all available means to go to the lost, and not wait for them to come to us. Mark 16:15 says,  "Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature."
BSALT believes that the great commission is not only to go around the world, but also around the corner.  There are 932 counties in the United States that do not have a solid, fundamental, independent, King James only, Baptist preaching church.  In addition, there are currently 99 counties that need over 50 churches each due to the large populations. Hundreds of other counties need more churches to adequately share the Gospel with the current population.
BSALT is committed to helping reach the most-needed counties in the United States. 
We cordially invite you to become actively involved with BSALT through your local church, and together we can reach the most-needed counties of the United States.  We ask that churches prayerfully consider adopting counties, and that preachers prayerfully consider going to one of the top 100 counties in the United States to start churches.

The population in the United States has doubled since 1950.  But solid, independent, fundamental Baptist Churches have not.

BSALT was started from a church plant in Los Lunas, New Mexico, the True Light Baptist Church.
