BSALT FACT:
One of the assumptions that BSALT makes to determine the number of churches needed in a given county is that each existing church will share the Gospel with 10,000 people a year. Is your church sharing the Gospel with 10,000 people a year? It is our hope that you will accept the BSALT challenge to do just that: to conduct an "Operation 10,000" at your church within the next 12 months.
What must we do to accept the Challenge:
1. Discuss with your pastor the BSALT Challenge and ask him to pray about conducting an "Operation 10,000" at your church.
2. If your pastor believes it is God's will to conduct the "Operation 10,000" at your church, then your pastor should send an email to BSALT accepting the Challenge. BSALT will then send your pastor the information for him to lead the "Operation 10,000".
3. As part of the Challenge you will need to spend approximately a month planning the operation. This will allow for mapping the county, ordering materials, and preparing the packets. The printing materials for the "Operation 10,000" will cost approximately $1,500.
4. The BSALT challenge helps make you accountable by emailing BSALT of your acceptance. You will need to give BSALT your official start date of the "Operation 10,000", and then you have 12 months to complete it. We also ask that upon completion that you email BSALT with the total number of souls led to the Lord in salvation, and an approximate number of visitors as a result of the "Operation 10,000". We know this may be an estimate, but we are wanting to track the results nationwide.
5. BSALT is only an email or phone call away to help in any way possible.
Only the pastor of your church can accept this challenge. We know that if you will get the Gospel into the hands or ears of 10,000 people, the power of the Gospel will change lives.
